THE ROLE OF ARCHITECTURE
WITHIN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

|| 1 ||
Although we strive to create the perfect learning environment, the learning process hinges on the ability of the individual teacher to impart knowledge. The value of the teaching experience cannot be undervalued nor overlooked. Our designs try and keep this in mind as well as provide a safe and comfortable space for both students and teachers.

Educational facilities have evolved from the simple concept of the one-room schoolhouse to the well designed environments that are common today. Better technologies, new building materials and techniques, new concepts of design and the evolution of theories and practices of teaching and learning have all played part in this progression. The critical element, however, has and will continue to be people: educators, facility planning specialists, architects, engineers, social scientists, designers, manufacturers and other experts who are continually working for and achieving improvements in the planning, design, construction and equipping of these facilities.
